Bicycle multi-tools are designed for on the bike storage facilitating roadside and trail side repairs. One of the main differences between multi-tools is the number of tools which can be a few hex wrenches up to over several dozen types of tools. It is important to match what your bike needs (ex. torque bits) and your skill level (use of a chain breaker) to the multi-tool you purchase. Having a few more tools than you may require is better than needing a tool and not having it!
