When selecting a seatpost clamp you must know the diameter of your seatpost. This is generally stamped on the seatpost in an area that is hidden by the frame and may require removal. If the ends of your seatpost clamp are touching, and there is no space left in the gap, you should replaced it as it is stretched and does not have enough grip force to hold your seatpost.
